PC Pictures

Was just wondering where you guys (esp. Mike) get yah pictures for PCs? Got some kinda main site for it, or do you just stumble on them ages earlier and save them, knowing that they're PC material?

Myself, I stumble and save. I've got a ton of pictures in a folder that are real cool (at least I think so), but I probably will never use.

Guess purpose of this thread is to A) get feedback re: picture gathering, B) perhaps get some cool pics and, most importantly, C) have a thread in the Misc. Chat room that serves a purpose and is longer than 3 posts (2 of them being mine of course).

Yup, she would make a cool Toreador Antitribu, but that's so obscure prolly only Baat & I even know what it means, so yes - cool pic, but limited application.

Generally what I do is trawl google images and (for D&D at least) a number of fantasy art sites until I find something which fits reasonably well.

im also a fan of google image search, it takes a bit of time to work out which key words are likely to work best but like you zert ive had a folder running for years of possible pc pic's which usually gets searched first.

i guess we could publish a pooled collection ourselves but not sure how much use that would be. vampires arent too bad, the worst stuff to try and find is dudes in armour, it must be a hard thing to draw well because most of them look like cunts.

Cos too many fantasy artists visualise armour so heavy you couldn't move in it, or Kaos Spikey Armour nonsense and other ridiculousness, without any reference to a single suit of real medieval armour.

I could put my *store* of pics on my site.. but... I don't really wanna, cos they're sweet pics saved for my sweet PCs.... not sure how long it's gonna take me to run about 100 PCs mind you...

Might be an idea, but without a thumbnail system a waste of time because all the file names are fucked up and it'd take ages to find something you want.

Any ideas Trom?
