Forum: Theme/Colour
Sup.
I was thinking about changing about the theme and colour of the forums. Been this black/orange for a while and whilst I'm happy enough with it, I think I wouldn't mind something a bit different.
What's all your opinions on the colour combination and layout of the forums? Do you like it as it is and if you don't, want sort of colour combination do you think might look okay and work for us?
I mean. Dark on Light, or Light on Dark is the primary thing to think about. Reading light on dark is easier on the eyes, so bear that in mind innit. Otherwise I'll take whatever people say here and consider it.

I always hated the orange. Whatever you do can't possibly be any worse.

Hehe, it does look like a lot of junk mail I used to get from Orange mobile.
Erm, I agree with keeping a dark background, don't mind about the text colour really.

Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
The dark blue for an inactive link could do with being brightened up.

Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
Whenever I change the "inactive link" shit nothing happens for me, so I just left that crap. I'll have a look anyway.
Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
Maybe it's not the inactive links, I dunno. It's the ones like in the following screenie, which are really hard to read.

Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
That's strange, but I think I know why I don't get that. I assume you have remember history on in your Internet browser? I never remember history myself. That must be visited links.
Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
Sorting it out is a bit hard actually. I never came up for me because I don't use history on my computer and never have, so I never noticed. Anyway, because how each colour changes lot of other things, rather than just say, text, it's difficult.
Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
For now, I have changed it all to the way I see everything. If someone has an issue that they can't see what they've already looked at, then I'll do something about it.
Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
Also to note. The administration panel is slightly broken at the moment, so it's a real pain in the ass to change stuff, especially colours. Mike commented that he thought the forums were a bit futuristic? I dunno.
What do you all think?
I could go for a kinda creamy/browny old school mix. Might be kinda nice that, but the backgrounds would basically have to switch to dark on light.

Re: Forum: Theme/Colour
I like this colour scheme, it's easy on the eye and (now) legible.
