D&D - Sword Coast - Game Logs

1st Session done.

Chell has a little trouble in the market with red-gloved thugs, but gets a little offer of work. Sorscha speaks to father Jermaih about recovering a piece of Bane's goblet and Chell turns up to help for a small payment.

Saamech and Tomka are attacked by red-gloved thugs, but Chell and Sorscha turn up just in time and everything kicks off!

The thugs are fought off and everyone escapes into the night in search of Tomka's ex-partner.

Chell, Sorscha, Saamech and Tomka all head to Hoytons, kick in the door and chase him out of a window, below a robed stranger turns up! Soon enough, the stranger reveals himself as Limnoch, the city gravekeeper and Hoyton is brutally interrogated.

With new information, the company head off to the City of the Dead to get Tomka's loot and find the mysterious Mort!

Arman' 1st session where he enters Skullport and makes some new and interesting friends before being set on fire and jumping in the dock. Arman becomes a stalker of the night and embarks in a murderous rampage in persuit of his foes...

Two part session!


1. Arman deals badly with his new feral state in Skullport and successfully makes no friends.

2. The group battle against the red handed thieves and their mysterious leader (whom wears no red glove) and manages to just come through intact, mostly.

They manage to get everyone back to Limnoch's graveyard hut and the bickering begins!

The party meet, and after a very brief and ill tempered planning meeting set off to attack the shrine. A protracted and vicious battle ensues, the PCs overcome the temple's defenders to substantial reward.

Without a gem in sight, Sorscha contemplates her fate...

With the heat building on the party from the authorities they go fishing, with a skeleton for a rod, and also have some amusing capers in Waterdeep's graveyard.

The party finds their drinking disturbed by an odd note, which leads to an encounter with the strange and mysterious Collector, as well as his unnerving butler.

An eventful evening, in which a dead dog's giblets are consumed, the party shows its fear of dark warehouses and Arman finally vents his frustrations upon Dumitru.

A brief interlude, with the intrepid Dumitru trying to smooth things over with the enigmatic Collector...

Dumitru is offered a chance of salvation. Chell scores in the Wyvern and the group is offered an interesting proposal by a stranger called Wolf. Later the group leaves to ambush a prisoner convey heading to the salt mines in the Sword Mountains.

Having freed the prisoners, a food shortage hits the group with murderous consequences. The party and villians in tow move on before finding a collection of small farmsteads. What follows is a scene of pure wickedness and not for the faint of heart.

Eventually the group arrives at the location promised by Wolf, however everything is not as it should be and it seems the PCs are the unwelcome guests of a large, angry and powerful predator.

Food shortages, changes in command, and some visiting fanatics make for a great weekend vacation in the country for Arman, Sorscha, and Limnoch.

The party set off on a contentious slave hunt, and bargain over their lives. An accommodation is reached and they entertain some unexpected guests before deciding to kill them.

Luckily for the guests, the party decides to kill each other first. Sorscha dies, their bar is turned into an inferno and Arman is very nearly eaten alive by the late cleric's zombie servants...

A brief sojourn into the countryside wherein Saamech and Arman leave Chell hunting and Limnoch tending his books, to track down their former employees now fled with some 3000gp worth of the party's ill gotten gains.

The pair track the wayward bandits to a small town and exact bloody vengeance upon them. They are aided in their task by a strange old man they encounter along the way........

The group travels north to St. Olem's Abbey, only to confront a third party. After a chat with a hideos taskmaster named Euz, the group decides to side with him and his mercenary forces.

The party, after taking almost two years out, travels to see Malaki, a local crime lord wherein they strike a deal, and further gain new intel on their lost target, Mort.

Travelling towards Waterdeep they are caught up in an unfortunate suicide bombing in a town called Red Larch and fall prey to the resulting civil unrest, as well as contributing to said unrest also.

The Party successfully assault the palace of Red Larch and capture their target, but not before encountering a force beyond their reckoning which may come back to haunt them in the future.....

The party meet a nasty little man who invites them to help him take over the town, and after mugging him like common criminals they agree to quell the uprising.

A riot ensues, many are massacred and the 'slaughter at the courthouse' is added to the list of the parties crimes..

The newly christened 'Cabal' assert their grip on the walled town of Red Larch, and torture the previous ruler for information.

After a meeting with an ally to pass on the newfound intelligence they are summoned by the guard commander to visit an unexpected guest in the town jail.

The party learn of a fragment of the lost empire of Netheril that has not yet been looted, and agree to investigate.

The party journey to a Netherilese treasure trove and discover it is guarded by two frost giants.

A epic battle ensues, though a combination of luck, bravery and enough evocation to smash a small kingdom they prevail. The bounty is indeed worthy...

The PCs, in their delapidated mountainside retreat are met by an innocent, soon-to-be-beheaded scribe, whilst discussing the finality of treasure division.

After some bad news, they set off towards waterdeep - some grudgingly - to search for the High Interceptor of Bane.

After a little shopping, fine dining and snooping about, they find the man they want and decide to have a little chat with him.

A brief sojourn 'pon a lonely moor, wherein Arman, Saamech and Kota find themselves, for no apparent reason, in a local tavern. When a strange mist descends over the land, they embark on some predictable wholesale slaughter, before being thrust into a situation very similar to Frank Darabonts 'The Mist', only not. Honest.
